Literature review worklog II: relationship configuring

After a week of digging, I have collected a good number of papers (30-ish) to start with. My current exercises is to try to put together a meaning framework, under which I am going to present my review. Here are some ideas after reading the introduction of these papers:
  • Original study vs. Value transfers
  • Theoretical vs. Empirical
  • ex ante vs. ex post
  • Dynamic vs. Snapshot
  • Stochastic vs. Deterministic
  • Bioeconomic vs. Ecological-economic (I am still trying to understand the difference between the two. It looks more like another scale issue to me so far: bioeconomic model only covers a certain sector in the economy, and EE model may include more than one sectors and more complex interactions?)
  • Cost-benefit vs. Multi-criteria framework
Obviously hierarchically structure doesn't work, and a spider-web type of relationship network is more appropriate. But I don't think our industry partners will appreciate that. I am supposed to use "less jargon, more anecdotes" in writing the report, according to my advisor. So I will have to be not only short & sweet but also full of stories this time...
