Rational addiction

This is a term I just learned today. I cannot say I know much about it but it looks like for economists everything can be modelled in a rational way, including addictions.

A Freakonomics quiz asked what would be the most addictive goods. There is a long list of answers and I didn't bother to read everything. Here is mine: economists' desire to rationalize everything!

Update: the answer is "people (falling in love, human interaction in general)" (more)
