The beginning of the end for Invasion Biology?

"There is little about biological invasions that make them so unique that a specialized sub-discipline need be sustained to study them."

According to Mark Davis, the author of a new book on Invasion Biology, as reviewed in the latest Nature.

I just sent a purchase request for the book.

Update: A letter in the latest Science also calls for balancing the benefits and risks of invasive species.

Update: Invasion biology is too young to die.
